I have been looking for a fax to email service for use about four or five times per month. I’ve heard that eFax requires customers to download its software. I did not see anything about this on your site, so I am wondering if it’s a scam, or if they are just baiting people to install something malicious? Thanks.

It’s getting expensive paying Vonage and not making calls. Will MagicJack work the same way?
I only want to send and receive faxes. I don’t need to make or receive phone calls. I have Vonage right now, which I used to use for my home phone, but now I have my cell and I have the fax hooked up directly to the Vonage phone line. I use this for my volunteer work and it’s getting expensive paying Vonage and not making calls. Will MagicJack work the same way?
Email to Fax Solution
I am looking for an email to fax solution. We set up online ordering for retail – once the consumer submits the order we want the order to print out on the store’s fax machine. We would be looking at setting up 500 stores and on average they would be getting 250 orders per month online. We are currently using [redacted] to do this, but it seems to be fairly expensive. Wondering if you have any thoughts to help with our needs.
Why does MagicJack disconnect while attempting to send a fax?
When I connected the fax machine directly to MagicJack, after scanning the pages it started dialing. I heard a dial tone then a series of beeps, but then MagicJack disconnected before anything was sent. It kept doing this every time I tried to fax something. Is there anyway to get MagicJack to stop cutting off?
How can I set up voice and fax on the same line?
I have a Brother MFC 7360. I’m trying to set up voice and fax on the same line. I have digital voicemail service with ATT. I’ve read that it’s not possible to have voice and fax on the same line. ATT said they don’t offer Distinctive Ring, so I’m having to plug in the fax when someone is sending me one. I’d like to be able to have the machine set up so it’ll receive when I’m not here but I think it won’t be possible. I don’t want to pay for an extra line. BTW, I only get faxes very infrequently. Thanks for your advice.
Why am I receiving blank faxes from one number?
I am receiving blank faxes from one number (my main source of faxes which was working and now is not) but other faxes come through and print. I have had people check my machine and the sender has checked their machine, and it works for others as well.
The message on their side says, “check readability.” But we don’t know what that is either! Help us.
