Is e-mail fax a graphic or text?
When I receive a fax via e-mail is it a graphic or is it a text document?
At times I receive faxes with Chinese characters that I then have to translate. Can I cut and paste like a Word document or would I be picking a piece of a graphic? A piece of a graphic will not work in an online translator.
Faxes that arrive in your e-mail box are images (typically in TIFF or PDF format), not text. So you can’t paste the contents of the fax into an online translation tool.
