I have good news for you: any wireless fax machine you have is probably compatible with the Verizon Jetpack routers. The Verizon Jetpack series’ most recent gadget is the Verizon Jetpack 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi 4620L. Intended for businesspeople who work on the road, the Verizon Jetpack creates a WiFi hotspot wherever you go. The newest version can connect to up to 10 wireless devices. If your fax machine can wirelessly connect to a standard router, it should be able to connect to the Verizon Jetpack. The Verizon Jetpack MiFi states that it is compatible with gadgets that support Wireless-N networking, so you could check that before you buy.
If you don’t already have a wireless fax machine, you might consider internet faxing when using the Verizon Jetpack. A number of websites such as MetroFax allow you to send and receive faxes through email or on a smartphone. These sites typically charge a monthly fee that depends on the number of faxes you would like to exchange. One thing to remember about the Verizon Jetpack, though, is that it has a monthly data cap of 5GB. That goes by pretty quickly, so keep an eye on what you send and receive!
