Fax confirmation settings
How do I know if a fax actually went through after I sent it?
Obviously, it’s going to matter which fax machine brand you have, but most will allow you to tweak the settings for verification purposes. Go to the “menu” or “settings” option and you can often choose to have a confirmation fax printed after every transmission, or to only have one sent after an unsuccessful attempt.
With internet faxing, it’s even easier, since a lot of sites such as FaxZero will send you an email to let you know when the fax has been delivered successfully (or if any problems in the transmission occurred).
