Is the cover page included in number of fax pages?
My cover page template has a place to fill in total number of fax pages. Does that include the cover page itself?
Customarily, yes, you should include the cover page in the total number of pages that you fax. So if you’re faxing five pages and a cover page, you’d write “6” as your total pages.
However, if you think your recipient will consider that answer unclear, you can make some amendments. You can say “6 pages including the cover page,” “5 pages + the cover page,” or “5 pages excluding the cover page.”
