How do I check for sending errors on my end?

We randomly hear a sound as if a fax is coming through, however no fax actually comes. This is a Brother fax.

How can I get my fax machine to wait eight rings before it picks up the fax?

How do I fax a wallet-sized card? Do I make a copy and fax that, or do I place the card on the fax machine? I’ve never done this before.

If I change my landline service provider, how can I keep my fax machine number?

I accidentally sent a voided check to an incorrect fax number. I have no idea who the number belongs to. Is there any way to find out?

Where can I view the “Fax Log”? I want to make sure my faxes are in fact going through.
