What Are the Size Limits for Internet Faxing?
I want to send a 5MB fax, but it won’t send. What’s the maximum size limit for faxing online?
Many online fax services have size allowances that would accommodate the file you mention, often up to 20 MB. However, this includes all the pages in a multi-page fax, so if you’re faxing a document with a large number of pages, or a lot of images, you might be in a little trouble.
If you don’t want to switch service providers, you can do a few things to make your file sizes smaller. If you’re scanning in a document, use 200 Dots Per Inch (DPI) and black and white instead of grayscale settings.
