Is there a way I can send a fax that will keep redialing until a fax machine picks up? I have a lot of customers that have faxes on their regular phone lines and it takes them numerous calls to turn on the fax. I need to have the fax keep resending until a fax machine picks up.

Kevin: I’m currently away from the office, so I don’t have access to a fax machine or a scanner. Is it possible to send a fax using my digital camera as the input? You know, take a picture of the page that I want to fax, then fax that picture?

At times I receive faxes with Chinese characters that I then have to translate. Can I cut and paste like a Word document or would I be picking a piece of a graphic? A piece of a graphic will not work in an online translator.
I have a fax machine on the same phone line that I use for voice calls. I just tried to send myself a test fax using FaxZero.com. My phone rang, and I thought it was a voice call and then heard the fax sound and hung up. The phone rang again. Now, this time I made it ring about 6 or 7 rings. I know that I shouldn’t pick it up if its a fax, but I do not know how many rings it should take to complete the fax. How does one determine if its a personal call? I do not have call waiting. How do I know when the fax is completed and verify it?

I currently have two fax numbers, which I have had for over 5 years. I really would like to keep the numbers and port them to a fax service. I currently use efax, but they do not allow me to port my own number. So basically, I have to forward my calls to efax. I want to eliminate the having to pay both the phone company AND efax. Do you know of anyone who will allow me to port my own number?

I need to send a fax from my computer today. But I don’t often need to send faxes so don’t want to sign up for an account with an Internet fax service. (And I don’t have the time/patience to configure my computer’s fax modem.) Cheap, or free, would be great. What should I do?

I was wondering if you could provide me with some guidance related to fax broadcasting. I work for a medical supply company and we currently do a broadcast fax once a month to our customer list of about 3,300 companies. We use an outside source to do this for us and it is quite costly. I would like to bring the process in house and was wondering what I need to make this happen.
